Jay started his career in the tourism and leisure industry as a ski instructor in college. He has held management positions in marketing research, resort marketing, hotel management and CRM strategy consulting. Jay served as national workshop leader for the American Marketing Association and as curriculum advisory board member for the Weatherhead Business School at Case Western Reserve University. He holds a M.B.A. from Hofstra University in New York.
